I noticed that both answers primarily addressed this, but I did not want to take someone's word on it that they "researched" it or "found out from Zebra support". Zp interprets both at the same time. Zebra Windows Printer Drivers

INF file and click Open. Under Hardware and Sound, click Configure a device. I would zebrw you to try temporarily disabling the firewall and check if the issue persists, so that we can know if firewall is blocking the required ports.

I would stick to ZPL - because no need to change the firmware.
