On her first album I mostly tried to avoid her ballads probably more because I wanted her to be the artist Possession led me to believe she was going to be, than because they were actually weak or bad or boringas I found her uptempo numbers were far better. While there are certainly some kinks that Jyongri needs to work out brushing up and polishing her vocals, testing out some types of songs other than dance-pop or ballad, and finding some new subject matterforeber turning into a surprising mild-interest artist for me. At first listen I thought this album was weak and bland, but after giving it some real attention I've realized it's actually pretty good. The ballads and love songs all feel more mature, with strong melodies and good production.
I avoided the album for a long while, and when I finally decided to get it and listen to it, it was full of the drivelling love songs I expected from an album entitled 'Love Forever'. Songs like 'The Chills' and 'Stars' have a completely different feel for Jyongri.
